Less Tanzanians will be under the Poverty Line
My prediction is that the amount of Tanzanians under the poverty line will decrease. Since 2001, the people under the poverty line has been decreasing. The people devoted to spending money only on food has dropped by around 8%. Over the past ten years the Tanzania household consumption has also increased by 17%. Additionally, the monthly amounts in Dar Es Salaam rose from 14,900 Tanzanian Shillings ($9.17) to 22,000 Tanzanian Shillings ($13.54) over the past ten years. Furthermore, the prices for corn and grain in some cities were higher than most other months. With the better prices, Tanzanian farmers will receive a better deal when selling their crops. Moreover, Tanzanians have currently received help from General Budget Support, Basket Funding, and Project Funding that have made attempts to help with Tanzania's poverty. Therefore, I think that the amount of Tanzanians under the poverty line will decrease.
